Second Series Level 5: The entire 2nd series of Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is a therapeutic system of yoga consisting of a set series of poses beginning with sun salutations (surya namaskara A and B), moving on to standing poses, seated poses, backbends, and inversions before relaxation. This system is designed to create an internal heat to detoxify the body by cleansing muscles and internal organs, as well as improving circulation and overall health. Continued practice has a calming effect on the mind while building strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina in the body.

Beginners are welcome and encouraged to try all classes. Modifications are always offered as an alternative to more challenging poses. Discover your potential by exploring all the possibilities. See you in class!
